The UK’s largest pub chain has called on the country’s biggest artificial grass firm to add colour and comfort to a revamped beer garden in Sheffield.
LazyLawn has rolled out 100 square metres of its patented Wonder Yarn at Wetherspoon’s Rawson Spring on Langsett Road, Hilsborough, as part of expansion plans for the pub which will allow more than 100 extra customers to enjoy a drink outdoors this summer.
The newly remodelled outside area, which also features a brand new outdoor bar, seats and tables, a gazebo and a fire pit, was officially opened over the Easter weekend, and customers have already been enjoying the recent spell of warm weather in its new outdoor facilities.
Pub Manager Grace Hopkins said; “We bought the patch of land last year and had LazyLawn installed just before Christmas, so people have had time to get used to it, but we thought we’d have a proper re-launch for the spring and summer to give the garden the attention we think it deserves.
“Reaction to the new lawn has been great so far; customers have enjoyed sitting and lying on it and I can see it getting more popular as it gets warmer. I’d definitely recommend it to other businesses.”
Wonder Yarn is comfortable, lush and easy to maintain. It has been used on thousands of gardens, in pubs and homes throughout the UK. Wetherspoons in particular is a regular client and we’re thrilled that we can help their customers get the most out of the Great British summer.
Young customer Erin McNally and Wetherspoon’s Team Leader Sharon Talbot enjoy the new LazyLawn turf at The Rawson Spring in Sheffield.
The Rawson Spring has installed a new gazebo, outdoor furniture, a fire-pit and an outdoor bar, as well as 100 square metres of LazyLawn Wonder Yarn.
