Leading UK artificial grass installers, LazyLawn®, have completed an impressive transformation of a residential courtyard at the Grange Walk apartment blocks in Bermondsey.

Previously a dull communal area, residents living at Linden Homes’ apartments can now enjoy breath-taking views from their balconies of the revitalised courtyard area, which includes 350 square metres of LazyLawn’s award winning Wonder Yarn synthetic turf.

The LazyLawn installation is complemented with water fountains and a selection of bedding plants.

Andy Boorman, of Linden Homes said: “We are glad to offer our residents a beautiful area where they can relax on the soft LazyLawn surface, especially during the summer.

“LazyLawn adds a colourful contrast to the apartment buildings and with its practical low maintenance benefits, makes it an area the residents can enjoy throughout the year.”

Andy Driver, Sales & Marketing Director at LazyLawn said: “The demand for LazyLawn in landscaped courtyards is on the rise because it adds another dimension to residential areas, both aesthetically and practically.”

Homeowners are also joining the trend for LazyLawn. In a recent poll commissioned by LazyLawn, 73% of British adults viewed having a lawn that always looks neat and tidy as the biggest benefit of installing a synthetic lawn. 65% of the adults polled believe that having a low maintenance lawn and one that isn’t affected by adverse weather were also seen to be important.

Andy continued: “LazyLawn is resilient in all weather conditions and is soft and safe for children to play on. It ticks all the boxes and is very low maintenance to boot.”

LazyLawn worked as a subcontractor on these projects with the Kingston Landscape Group, which specialises in landscape installations across London.

Lucas Martin-Baeza, Contracts Manager at Kingston Landscape Group said: “It has been a pleasure to work with LazyLawn on this project. The quality of LazyLawn’s artificial grass is superb and it looks very impressive.

“We hope to work with LazyLawn again in the near future on further projects in London.”
