A man from North London is celebrating after winning £3k worth of artificial turf, thanks to LazyLawn’s summer competition.
Steve Rawlinson, from Palmers Green, won the turf after entering the month long online competition run by the UK’s biggest artificial grass brand, to mark their 30th anniversary.
To celebrate this important milestone, LazyLawn launched the competition where entrants were asked to find mascot, Larry who was hidden within one of the webpages.
Lucky Steve was the clear winner after being the first entrant to find Larry on the final week of the competition.
Steve, who owns his own hosting company, said: “I never usually win anything so was absolutely delighted to have found out I’d won this competition!
“We had LazyLawn in the garden of my old property around four years ago and have wanted to get it again for the new house, so we’ve been really lucky to have won the lawn for free!
“My wife and I have two young boys who spend a lot of time out in the garden, so LazyLawn is an ideal and mess-free option for us.
“We’re so impressed with how natural and realistic the lawn looks – it’s brightened up the garden!”
Around 48 square meters of LazyLawn’s ‘Lush’ turf was used in the installation, transforming Steve’s once uneven lawn, into a luxurious and vibrant back garden for the family to enjoy.
