Grass indoors you say? That’s right. With artificial grass from LazyLawn, the limits are only what you set for yourself.

The attraction of artificial grass is its ability to be low maintenance and have a year round ‘fresh as a daisy’ look. In fact, carpets are subject to much more wear and tear, with the average lifespan of turf being fifteen years. It is much easier to clean up any mess on plastic — all you need is some hot soapy water or a light detergent spray plus the conventional vacuum cleaner for everyday dirt.

Examples of Indoor Uses

There are plenty of ways that you can use artificial grass indoors. Grass is very popular in office spaces as a break out area — firstly because it is different, secondly because the colour green is said to have positive connotations, evoking feelings such as growth, balance, safety and rejuvenation and finally, feeling connected with nature gives us all an increased sense of wellbeing.

Our lawns have been used by businesses for trade shows and exhibitions, for indoor golf (take a look at our Meadow Twist and Nylon Pro) ideal for children’s playrooms and bedrooms and these are just a few examples.

Collett School

The staff at Collett School — a special needs school in Hertfordshire, wanted to transform their library into a great sensory space for their pupils to better engage with reading. Using our Wonder Yarn, we set to work transforming the library into an ‘outdoors, indoors’ space. The pupils loved the grass, running their hands and feet through the grass and the new library has surely contributed to the pupils reading and behavioural skills.

What Grass is Great for Indoor Spaces?

The easiest answer would be to say all of our types of grass. All of our grass products would sit right at home in an indoor space. However, our Meadow Twist artificial grass is popular for indoor office spaces due to its dense pile height of only 9mm. If you are considering using artificial grass for your indoor space but would like some expert advice as to where to start then contact us, we’d be happy to advise you further.
