Babies and toddlers at a farm nursery are getting closer to nature after the UK’s biggest artificial grass brand installed a synthetic lawn for them to play on outdoors.

Chris and Vicky Dodd, owners of Rope Green Farm Nursery in Cheshire, decided to replace the Nursery’s traditional front lawn, where the children can watch animals in the nearby field, with artificial turf, allowing the children to spend more time outdoors.

“The front lawn looks great all the time now, it doesn’t get muddy which enables the younger children to use it all year round and experience all types of weather.”

said farmer Chris Dodd.

The popular Nursery, which encourages interaction with the animals, has vertical slat fencing around the lawn, so that the younger children can see farm life from the safety and comfort of the company’s Chill brand of artificial turf.

“We went with the Chill because of its durability and comfort, it’s easy to keep clean and the babies and toddlers love crawling and exploring the environment. We’d recommend it to anybody looking for an alternative to a natural lawn.”

Vicky Dodd explained.
