A Taunton animal Rescue Centre has received an outdoor makeover with a dog enrichment area, thanks to LazyLawn®. LazyLawn® Taunton installed over 100 square meters of its Which? Best Buy Wonder Yarn 26mm artificial grass, along with fencing, a play bridge and a dog tunnel at the St. Giles Animal Centre.

The area is used for sensory stimulation and the rehabilitation of the centre’s dogs, and the animals now have an area to relax and play after time spent at the rescue centre.

Jack Linnell, Centre Manager at St Giles Animal Centre based on Newport Road said: “We are so happy with the new enrichment area. It has allowed us to spend more time with our rescue dogs in a training environment. “The dogs love the LazyLawn® and enjoy the mental stimulation from the sensory garden.

“Thank you Nigel and the LazyLawn® team for transforming our outdoor area in to a better and happier place for the dogs.” Nigel Roper from LazyLawn® Taunton said: “It has been a real pleasure creating this exciting new dog enrichment area for St Giles Animal Rescue.

“For this installation we used our award winning LazyLawn® Wonder Yarn 26, which will hopefully help these dogs on their road to recovery.

LazyLawn® is perfect for pets as it is non-toxic, hygienic and it does not discolour as a result of urine and waste. Compared to natural turf, the artificial lawn is resistant to damage by animals, is low maintenance and the perfect solution for muddy paw prints!

LazyLawn® also has its own selection of pet products for artificial lawns, Peeclenz and Poopclenz, ideal for pet owners to neutralise pet odours.
