A leading artificial grass provider has supplied grass for the Prairie Sports Village in Burnley.
The LazyLawn teamed up with European Golf to provide grass for a putting green, a chipping green with bunkers, a nine-hole mini golf and a short game practice area, transforming an open field into a golf resort fit for a professional.
In total, 950 square metres of grass were used in the project, using a mixture of Nylon Pro, Grass Park, Meadow Twist and Tee Grass.
Wesley Kellow, Assistant Manager at the Prairie Sports Village, said: “We are delighted with our new golf areas!
“The area has been really well received by customers and we can only envisage this getting busier in 2017 as the weather improves.
“The LazyLawn product had been ideal for this project. Everyone who has seen the golfing range so far has commented that it’s absolutely splendid.”
The LazyLawn rep said: “This was the first project of its kind for LazyLawn as we have never completed all three of these golfing areas in one project.
“LazyLawn is perfect for this niche golfing market as it doesn’t wear in the way that normal turf does. LazyLawn is durable under all weather conditions and won’t become muddy or damaged in bad weather.
“I am thrilled with the finished result and it was a wonderful installation to complete.”
