For this project, our customer had two very large dogs that tore up the existing lawn and turned it into a mud bath. It was not an option to go without a lush green lawn, so the only alternative to concrete, gravel, or decking was to install an artificial lawn.
After a site visit, and seeing large samples placed in the garden, a suitable surface was chosen from our range, and the installation was booked.
The project took three days to complete from start to finish and involved removing what was left of the current turf and installing an MOT 1 base, which was compacted and followed by a layer of fine stone to enable us to sculpt the lawn to include contour.
Once this was complete, the synthetic turf was installed and infilled with sand to provide a clean and stunning area for the dogs and grandchildren to play.
