This weekend, golf enthusiasts the world over will be following the events from the Medinah Country Club in Illinois, USA, as Team America takes on Europe in the 39^th Ryder Cup tournament.

Europe are the holders, and one thing is for sure: the 12 players of the visiting team will have more than just their opponents to compete against this weekend. The Americans are a very partisan crowd, and will make it as intimidating as possible for the Europeans.

But as ever, it will be a gripping three days. Some enthusiastic club golfers will marvel at the excellence of the world’s best players, and look for tips they can pick up.
