LazyLawn @ Hampton Court 2008
This is the brand’s first appearance at the event, and after a big effort from all the team, as well as being the first ever artificial grass brand to be invited to exhibit at the event, LazyLawn are also the first to have earned an award that is only given to a handful of display sites!
Lazy Supreme was used within a 45 square metre plot. Six 3.5m-tall pleached hornbeam trees surrounded the main lawn area containing three bespoke stainless steel low-level water features. The defined perimeters of the synthetic grass were completed with a stainless steel edging and light crushed stone to contrast, creating a clean and sharp design.
The site incorporated a raised hardwood deck area with low-level seating and a table upon artificial turf that was recessed into the decking. Fourteen synthetic grass balls enclosed this space, along with a 5ft Lazy Supreme wall to frame the beautiful light-coloured statue, creating a fantastic backdrop. Two delicate flat hornbeams were installed above either side of the 'grass' wall to complete the area.
Thousands of people visited the site during the week-long event and the comments and reactions to the area were extremely positive. The Certificate Of Merit Award topped off a wonderful show.
