LazyLawn have won the 'Certificate Of Merit' for outstanding presentation of their display garden at the prestigious RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show.
This is the brands first appearance at the event and after a big effort from all the team, as well as being the first ever artificial grass brand to be invited to exhibit at the event, LazyLawn are also the first to have earned an award that is only given to a handful of display sites!
Lazy Supreme was used within a 45 square metre plot. Six 3.5m tall pleached hornbeams surrounded the main grass area containing three bespoke stainless steel low level water features. The defined perimeters of the artificial grass were completed with a bespoke stainless steel edging and light crushed stone to contrast with the fake grass creating a clean and sharp design.
The site incorporated a raised hardwood deck area with low level seating and a table upon artificial turf that was recessed into the decking. Fourteen artificial grass balls enclosed this space along with a 5ft Lazy Supreme wall to frame the beautiful light coloured statue creating a fantastic back drop. Two delicate flat hornbeams were installed above either side of the 'grass' wall to complete the area.
Thousands of people visited the site during the week long event and the comments and reactions to the area were extremely positive and the Certificate Of Merit Award topped off a wonderful show.
