Which artificial grass has the stripes in?
Our Lazy Grass is famous for its unique stripes. Our specially trained installers can add stripes to your lawn during the installation.
What grass was used in the Big Brother House?
Lazy Grass Olive was featured in Big Brother 2007 and 2006 (in secret garden) and Celebritiy Big Brother 2007. Grass Park Junior was also used on the patio area and around the hot tub in Celebritiy Big Brother 2007..
LazyLawn products have also been featured on many other TV programmes including; Project Catwalk on Sky One, The One Show on BBC 1, This Morning on ITV and Top Gear on BBC 2.
Which artificial grass is best for dog owners?
Any of the lawn grasses are perfect for dog owners. Lazy Grass Olive and Emerald have been installed in many gardens with dogs and the customer comments have been very positive. The sand filling in the lawn grasses protects the pile from dog claws.
Are LazyLawns safe for children and pets?
Yes. Our lawn grasses are lovely and soft and loved by kids and pets. The kids can continue to play ball games and dogs can roll and run-around without turning your garden into a mudbath!
How does Lazy Grass look so real?
LazyLawn invest heavily in product development to achieve a range of fake grass that looks and feels so natural that people cannot tell it is artificial. We have received hundreds of letters from satisfied customers that have had Lazy Grass installed explaining that their neighbours, friends and relatives that have visited have not even realised they have a synthetic lawn!
What little maintenance is required of the LazyLawn?
I recommend using warm soapy water and a stiff brush to clean shorter pile grasses. Jet washes and hoses can also be used. To remove leaves on longer pile grasses either use a blower, a light rake or brush.
To prevent weeds or moss forming, I recommend you use a watered down weed killer solution twice yearly on the whole of the lawn area.
For dog mess, remove the bulk of the mess and again use a soapy water solution and brush the area if required. This ensures the smells are washed away.
LazyLawn can accept all major credit cards, cheques and bank transfers. Your local installer can instruct you on payment terms once an installation has been booked.
How long will my LazyLawn last?
It is estimated that your LazyLawn will last 12-15 years through normal use. LazyLawn artificial grasses are fully UV stabilised and will not show signs of fading until approximately 12 years.
Can I have a BBQ on my LazyLawn?
It is best to use a sand filled grass like Lazy Grass as it has a good fire rating (tested to BS 4790). As a precaution, we would recommend placing the BBQ on top of slabs or bricks.
I am over 25 years old and I have lots of experience in the artificial grass industry. This is very old for a rabbit, but I've been eating special carrots and hope to live to be the oldest bunny rabbit ever!
How long does it take to install a LazyLawn?
Our trained installers can usually install a regular sized lawn (approx 40-60sqm's) in just one day. Bigger gardens that require significant ground work and preperation will take 2-3 days. Your installer will be able to inform you of the time scale during the quotation process.
Please contact your local installer and they can direct you to a showsite or arrange a visit to show you large samples.
Which LazyLawn should I choose for pool side areas?
Either Grass Park Junior, Grass Park Senior or Turf Deluxe. The dense pile of these products makes them ideal for this application.
Are LazyLawns cheaper than a real lawn?
Yes, over a 5-10 year period. If you were to add up 10 years of watering, feeding, cost of two lawn mowers and (in many cases) the cost of re-turfing, a LazyLawn is a cheaper alternative. Also considor the time saved at the weekend and reduced waste in your garden bin!
